My morning routine consists of coffee, pinching and frequenting fashion blogs. I know it's sort of akin to a tabloid paper, but I like it and can't seem to stop anyway. One my regs I usually swim through is Vogue Italia. The most discerning piece of advice or encouragement I have seen in a while was giving me the finger this AM. In the Vogue Mania section was a headline that stated, "UGG: a fun boho footwear option" with this awful depiction of someone trying to be worth emulating.
Listen, I had my moment as well. There was a time when I could not make my way out of the UGG box and saw no other options, however; I am a grown woman with skills and resources and I can proudly say that not only I have I shunned these cro mag, denim skirt 15 year old girl advocators, I have banished them from my environment. I advise you do the same, especially if you are over the age of 19. Have some respect.
Tina Turner is one of my favorite people on planet earth. I find her to be all of things you hear about and more than you would expect. The majesty of her is highlighted by Mad Max and hommage will be paid. Balmain is STILL tipping their hat to her after all these years. I am a bit bias, I love anything post apocalyptic. I m storing juice right now as we speak.....
